Blackstar Engineering is centrally located in Wigan with excellent access to the motorway network. This allows a rapid response time when a customer requires assistance. The Blackstar premises are equipped with the tools required to rectify most problems quickly.

Blackstar carry a large range of parts, which generally ensure that a customer's machine can be brought back into production with the minimum of down time. Again to minimise downtime Blackstar Engineering recommend that customers have their machines periodically checked & overhauled by Blackstar Engineers.

Blackstar have also developed a range of upgrades for equipment to enhance the performance & to extend the longevity of machinery. This includes updating the PLC's with current units from Siemens, Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi or any current suppliers range, replacing the hydraulic lift systems on Palletisers with motorised units, replacing pneumatic layer forming dams with more accurate & reliable motorised units plus many other innovative ideas.
